CUSTOM DUMMIES and COSTUMES
If you have an idea for a ventriloquist dummy which is not the traditional
cheeky boy style, then we may be able to make it for you.
We can make almost any character, althuogh for reasons of copyright and
image laws we are unable to make real people, living or dead, or
celebrities.
You may decide on a character that needs a particular expression, like sad
or angry, or someone who looks a certain age.
Whatever your idea is, we are always happy to discuss it with you.
Normally a custom dummy will take beween 3 to six weeks to make depending on
current projects and the work involved.
We can also make the costume to exactly fit the dummy and create a hairstyle
that perfectly suits that character.
COST
Option 1
Sculpting a new head can take many days to complete, so
if you decide that you are not concerned that other customers could also buy
that same character then the cost would be no more than our traditional boy
dummy. £295.00 plus a small charge of £20 to cover the design costs of the
custom costume.
We would make moulds of the head and then use the castings to make new
dummies.
Option 2
However, if you prefer to keep the character as your own with no copies
ever made, we would agree not to take moulds and your dummy would be unique.
The cost would be £495 which would include the custom costume.
